First off, let me say: yes, I know we were glamping, so I wasn't expecting a five-star resort. But as much as I wanted to love this place, I just didn't.
On the bright side, the hosts were super helpful and responded to my questions promptly, which was a huge plus. The beds were also comfortable, and we had plenty of blankets for the chilly evening.
Unfortunately, my main disappointment was the facilities. We stayed in the Zepplin trailer and our A/C was barely working, so we basically opted not to use it. The refrigerator didn't stay cold either, and the door wouldn’t stay shut—we actually had to block it with an object just to keep it closed. We brought extra water because we were expecting the heat, but putting it in the fridge was completely fruitless.
The shared facilities left a lot to be desired as well. The bathroom stalls were a guessing game as to which one was suitable to use, and on the day we arrived, there was a pair of underwear left on the floor of the outdoor shower, which was pretty gross. Someone eventually kicked them into the dirt, and they were gone by the next day, but we still ended up wearing flip-flops in the showers instead of standing on the bare floor. Also, a dirty wine glass sat in the outdoor sink the entire weekend.
This place has so much potential, but there are definitely some serious maintenance and cleanliness issues that need fixing.
