The room itself was a pleasant surprise—good size, comfortable enough for a short stay, and laid out in a way that made it easy to relax. However, the overall condition of the property really let the experience down.
Throughout the hotel, you can tell it needs significant improvement. Common areas feel worn and tired, and the level of cleanliness is below what you’d expect. There were visible signs of neglect: scuffed walls, dated furnishings, and spots that clearly hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. In the room, while the space was fine, some details (like dust, marks on surfaces, or bathroom grout) suggested housekeeping could be much more rigorous.
On the positive side, the staff were genuinely good—friendly, helpful, and willing to assist whenever needed. They clearly try their best, but they’re working in a property that needs a lot of work behind the scenes: deeper cleaning, repairs, and likely some refurbishment. If management invested in updating and maintaining the building, the combination of decent rooms, good staff, and improved standards could make this a much stronger stay.
