The staff needs better training. They neglected us for 45 minutes during the check in process paying attention to other guests who arrived after us displaying discriminatory practices since they thought we were Mexican and favored “American” costumers. They could not manage the situation. When we brought this up they tried to fix it and the manager gave us some amenities for free. We still experienced the same treatment by people at restaurants and bars continuously, being disregarded, having longer waiting periods than other guests arriving after us and some being dismissive.
During the check in we were charged an incorrect amount and were asked to approach the reception desk to correct it and pay the difference. They wanted to charge us more because the exchange rate was different that day and unfavorable to us. I expressed my disagreement since the error was theirs and the amount should have been the one determined at the moment of the check in.
The food was excellent. Compliments to the chefs we enjoyed all restaurants and buffets.
Rooms were clean and serviced several times a day.
Unfortunately, due to the issues with some staff I was sometimes defensive and it was difficult to fully relax.
