The hotel did what we needed it to do and served as a place to sleep overnight for a quick trip. We had minimal interaction with staff, really just the front desk, so there isn’t much to note there.
The room was fine overall, but it wasn’t spotless. There was dust hanging from the lighting, and the shower had obvious water marks with a black tinge to them. At least one of the small towels had hair on it. The towels were clearly washed, but they had an older, slightly stale smell rather than smelling fresh or even completely neutral.
The continental breakfast was a nice convenience and was pretty much exactly what you’d expect from a hotel of this size. Nothing particularly special, but it did the job.
Overall, I’d say you get pretty much what you’d expect from a mid-tier Lancaster hotel. It was perfectly adequate for a quick overnight stay.
