Decent property for the price , clean and decent facilities . Could perhaps do with a little decor upgrade but excellent all the same

The property was just as advertised. We had a lovely romantic weekend. Many thanks!

There was a strong musty smell as soon as you entered and in the bathroom but the room itself smelled pleasant. The door was unlocked when we arrived, some hairs in the bath tub but otherwise okay.

I was a bit surprised to find no staff on site and it was a bit tricky getting into the hotel at night. I received a code for the main door but in the dark it wasn’t very obvious to find and use the screen. The hotel’s location was a bit off the beaten track but the spacious room lived up to the photos and descriptions.

Got to the address specified and the door is not easy to find as its placed along the wall of a derelict looking building, tried to call the number the email provided and it went straight to voicemail. I then tried the number on their website and the same thing happened, after eventually figuring it out for ourselves we get into the room and the toilet flusher is missing a part and falling off the wall, other than the complete lack of customer service the stay was ok, there are better places to stay within that area. Id keep looking.

No hot water on first day and no reply from staff about it. No AC, but the room was nice

Good sized rooms comfortable and a bonus the hot tub! Only downside they have extended the hot tub use to midnight from the previous 10.30pm cut off so I didn’t appreciate the room above me in the hot tub until 11.30pm it was noisy. Good quiet location.

It was exactly what was expected, nothing amazing but nothing at all bad. I would stay again if I was in the area. Couple of things to note was the blinds came down when I tried to draw them so I had no blind in the morning. The fan was not great and it means a really hot night. But can’t really complain for the cost and the expectations. Kettle worked but could have had a cable that disconnected, wasn’t any teaspoons with the coffee and the remote didn’t work well on the tv. Shower was good Towels were there Done exactly what it said on the tin

Lush spot, great location, it was perfect for a short term stay. The shower in my room was stuck on scalding hot no matter how long I ran it for, but the staff did try and help. TV also relies on Wireless Display and couldn't get that sorted. Would be a straight 5 stars if the shower was sorted and they had a Roku or something similar! Would recommend.

Very warm room with a couple of old fans. No hot water in the shower.

Great place to stay, check in information was clear and easy. The location was quiet, and room itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable.

Only criticism is the stairs being quite steep which makes it difficult with luggage (large suitcases etc)

Too hot, no AC and a very poor fan

Room had no hot water, tv didn’t work and the booking said breakfast included…. Which would be difficult as this guesthouse had no staff present (or anywhere to eat). The room itself was clean and pleasant, but the lack of any hot water meant cold showers and no hot tub use.

The hotel was exactly as described, the bed, living space, esnuite bathroom were all very comfortable and quite elegant. we only had an issue with the jets of the jacuzzi as they were not as clean as we would have liked, however, it was still a phenomenal stay and my wife and I would absolutely recommend! Staff were also very helpful, bringing different items when asked. Good links to shops, transport and old street/moorgate station aren’t too far.

Perfectly nice room in a lovely area. Good communication and easy to follow check in instructions. Unfortunately a few issues with the facilities. Jacuzzi bath didn’t function properly, and TV didn’t have a signal. Not a major issue for us as we were out for the evening. In the morning discovered that the shower was dangerously hot and therefore unusable. Received a prompt response upon reporting this, but were checking out so can’t review service.

the room itself was lovely, clean and spacious for a great price and the jacuzzi was just great on its own. would definitely recommend to people looking at staying here

The hotel is in a lovely area and the room is a nice size. As this is classed as a boutique hotel I would expect a coffee machine in the room, more than 3 tea bags for a 2 night stay and better quality pillows as they were lumpy.
