This is the second time that we have stayed at this property. You can tell that it is an older property but the rooms are clean and well decorated. If we come back to Macinaw city in the future we will definitely stay at this hotel.

This place has an awesome location and that is it. Rooms have old musty carpet and furniture. No breakfast, ice machine and hot tub broke. If you are looking for a cheap place to sleep with a great location this is it.

We love this hotel for the bridge view, beach, size of the King suite! Always very clean, staff is so nice. They have an elevator for those of us that are disabled and cannot walk stairs! Only bad, I wish they would power was the outside carpet covering on the balcony.

There was moss on the stairs, the ice maker was broken, and the rooms are showing their wear. There was a king bed on a California king frame. But, the bed was comfortable and the staff were respectful.

You get what you pay for, everything is poorly maintained or broken. I do not recommend this place because it’s dirty and not organized with cleanliness. Housekeeping is only requested by guests 24 notice to freshen up the room and the beach area is full of rocks.

room was FILTHY - and smelled horrible. our second room wasn't available until 6 pm spiders everywhere, mold in our bathroom- our second room had the airconditioner dripping in the bathroom

The beach view was wonderful! Room was clean, beds were comfortable enough, and A/C worked well. A quite decent stay for those on a budget even with a few maintenance items that should be addressed. The door to the room had a considerable gap at the bottom allowing light and the elements in. Some mold and old caulk in the bathroom, as well as the hairdryer that shorted out mid-use.

The view was amazing but room was very very dirty had to clean it before I could even bring my stuff in had fecal smears on the door for the bathroom, cob was every where and when u open the door to the room at night to go in or out thousand of bugs fly in as soon as u crack the door,had 2 diffent tv stand one that the tv use to be in that hasn't been rmoved from the room and another with a TV that I couldn't watch because it wouldnt let you change the channel on at all.if it wasn't for the view I would have canceled and found a different place

Hundreds of bugs all over our entry door all day and night. Room seamed clean but shower head only 5' tall. There for 3 nights and same trash and liquor bottles on beach all weekend. Almost all beach chairs are broken. Not a good experience for 4th of july weekend. Pitiful for over $300/night

The room had left over crackers and an open water bottle on the table when we arrived. The shower curtain appeared to have blood on it. The sheets were stained. There was a big water leak mark on the ceiling. The hot tub was cold, the pool looked pretty gross. My teens wouldn't go in it. The best part about this hotel was that it was on the beach and the grab and go breakfast was decent.

The view from the deck was excellent. The room was clean but the lights seemed to be dim unless I put all of them on. The gym turned out to be at the Hamilton up the street and the equipment was not that great. I had trouble keeping my balance on the bizarre treadmills they have in there. Not the same quality and flat like I normally use. Wish they had an office chair in the room with wheels rather than a stationery chair.

Our original room was not ready at 4pm. The manager said maybe 6pm. The manager finally upgraded our room for no extra cost. When we arrived to the upgraded room the sheets had stains on them. They remade the bed. The beach was dirty including a dead seagull. We love Mackinaw City but may have to find a new location to stay. The front desk lady Susan was very helpful

Shower didn’t work, hot tub didn’t work, It was no where near what was expected. It was in the 80’s and we weren’t able to shower after being out side all day.
