I’ve stayed here several times and for several reasons, the where are just lovely people, nothings too much trouble. Breakfast is excellent I always eat too much! The rooms are a great size with plenty of amenities.

Beautiful room with four poster bed, Lounge with real fireplace every night. Microwave and fridge was a definite positive. Wonderful hosts and a great full breakfast.

The drive up to the house was abit bumpy. The check in was fast and the owners was very nice and helpful. The room was big and the bathroom was really nice. The beds was ok. The commenroom was really cozy. Breakfast was excellent.

Very attentive hosts who catered for every need. The building is rather tired but with lots of old world charm with lovely touches such as fresh floral displays. Breakfast was amazing and of a standard you'd expect at a top class hotel who would charge £25 a head for it! Very dog friendly with a big field for him to run around off lead.

We would like to thank Carolyn and Chris at Disblair House for providing us with the best bed and breakfast stay we have ever had. We could not fault anything about our stay , from the warm welcome , the comfortable en-suite , the amazing breakfast and the lovely quirky decor and best of all the friendliness of the hosts. We hope to return.

Such a gorgeous place to stay with everything you could need to be comfortable and sleep restfully. Karolynn and Chris couldn’t have been more helpful and the breakfast they provided was outstanding - all you could ever want and more. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much.

This is exactly what I pictured when I imagined staying in Scotland. The house is beautiful and the owners along with their two dogs could not be anymore wonderful. We also had one of our best breakfasts in Scotland.

Disblair House Hotel is THE BEST B&B I've ever stayed in! Five stars is not enough! The house is beautiful and spotless and really interesting, the rooms have everything you need. Bed is very comfortable. Hosts are kind, friendly and welcoming, they made us feel very much at home. The huge breakfast set us up for the entire day! So much choice. It was ALL delicious. Thank you Karolyn, Chris (and your dogs and hens). Our stay with you was wonderful :) x

We just had a beautiful 1 night stay with Karolyn & Chris in a very yummy room in a quite delicious & absorbing house. The welcome (includes a chocolate), service, friendliness, the bed, the breakfast (oh yeah THE breakfast - especially the Porridge) & their 2 dogs, who are extremely friendly, after an initial bark when arriving, made the overall experience one we’ll never forget & will be telling other travellers to just book in & enjoy. The property is National Trust listed & is quietly tucked away about 2 miles from the town of “Newmachar” being 12 miles from “Aberdeen”. It was a pleasure Karolyn & Chris meeting & staying with you at “Disblair” & we wish you both every success in the future. Cheers Steve & Carina

Our stay couldn’t have been better! Disblair House was a peaceful pocket of history, Scotland hospitality surrounded in pastoral beauty.. deer, rabbits, birds and pheasant, wildflowers and lovely old hedgerows.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Disblair House - the room was very comfortable with everything that we needed. Breakfast was amazing - so much choice and everything delicious. Karolyn and Chris are delightful hosts - very friendly and hospitable. The lounge with open fire and honesty bar were an added bonus in the evening. We highly recommend it to anyone and would love to return.

I travel a lot for work, and it was great to find this little hotel off the beaten track. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and the room was comfortable and well laid out, with plenty of space. I used the link in the booking confirmation to find the hotel without any trouble, but take care to follow the signs.

Did not expect this - way exceeded our expectations. It was charming, homely, and very comfortable. Only there for a few days, but we could havd happily stayed much longer. A good base to see this of Scotland from.

Best kept secret in Scotland. Karolyn and Chris were fantastic hosts. We spent 1 night here but wish we had spent the other 9 nights here as well. Beautiful property and most comfortable bedding I’ve had outside my own home (including 4-star hotels). The breakfast was 5-star worthy. Worth the lodging price alone!! I told them they should charge more - I will figure out how to tip them…
