We enjoyed our stay VERY much and were so delighted to be greeted and treated so warmly…including a surprise upgrade to a delightful sea view room upon our arrival! The hotel is very easy to find, has ample free parking on site, and the cafe/bar is so cozy…filled with delightful, historic artifacts. The hotel is an older slightly creaky historic building, though it’s been fully updated and the entire hotel was nicely appointed and squeaky clean. Our room was quite small, and we needed to navigate several assorted fire doors and narrow stairs, so my slightly lower rating on a couple of points is intended to just show that, not bash the property or criticize the service we received in any way. Our bed was very comfy and the hotel location surprisingly quiet, so we slept wonderfully. Breakfast service was top notch, perfect start to the day, and our lunch/dinner was excellent: kudos to the cook, for sure. We enjoyed our stay very much and recommend Oyster Inn highly.
