We arrived on a Friday evening and upon arrival after going through the process, the clerk that was assisting us said he could not locate us in the system. He checked to see if there was anything available as we had traveled all this way and we had a confirmation. He said that there was one room available that was not being used. We were given a handicap accessible room which may not have been used for sometime because the rug in the entire room felt like there was a substance on it as it hard throughout the whole room. The toilet had a ring inside the bowl, which looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. There were clean towels, soap shampoo, but the coffee tea, etc. little basket they had there had one packet of coffee, no filters, no sugar, the package they did have in there looked like it had been there for a long time as the packaging seemed very old. The windows were not clean and had water spots on all of them. I think it was used for storage because we opened one of the linen closets and they had a lot of cups, pots, and a lot of miscellaneous things that people would call for if they needed it for their room. The furnishings look very old and rundown. We were told we could call the next day to see if there was another room available. The next day I spoke to the supervisor who advised that there was another room available if we wanted to change. Eventually, we found out that it was the person who checked us in that accidentally canceled our reservation.
