It’s somewhat unusual that you have to collect the room key from the bar at the adjacent pub, which apparently operates the hotel. I was given a room on the third floor with a large entrance area and a very spacious shower and small toilet, located separately. Everything was acceptably tidy, with soap, shower gel, and toilet paper provided.
The room itself was quite small, and the bed was very narrow, probably only 80 cm.
The memory foam mattress topper had what looked like an imprint from the previous guest who had slept there, which was not really up to standard. The room was reasonably clean but very cold. It took quite a while to warm it up, and the radiator was quite noisy.
That said, I was not bothered at all by noise from the pub downstairs. All in all, the hotel is just about acceptable for a single night’s stay, but it is definitely lacking in charm and feels somewhat worn down.
