Breakfast was sufficient, better than coffee and donuts, not as elaborate as a full blown buffet. But, had hot food, lots of options, and you don't go away hungry. A great "Hangout" room separate from the hotel (but onsite), that was nicely decorated, and much better than the standard motel-ish decorating style of cafeteria tables and dining chairs. This is where one would want to hang out after skiing for coffee, shuffleboard, and conversation.
An inviting massive fireplace in the lobby where you could mingle with other hotel guests and share ski stories.
