DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL
We booked this hotel for Coldplay. We did this as soon as Coldplay announced the reschedule from Monday to Friday. As we booked it so soon, the hotel had not had a chance to elevate their prices. We were happy that we had got a hotel for an acceptable price. We were left absolutely fuming when we came to check in on Friday to be told our room had been given to someone else. They said they had been overbooked and obviously the room was given to the highest payer. ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. We had driven over 3 hours to get there, parked up about 20 mins walk from the hotel. We were promised (and I have in writing) that they will refund the room booking PLUS compensation due to them breaking the agreement. We have so far received nothing. We contacted OYO Customer Service who weren't even prepared to give us any contact details for the hotel...not even the Manager's name. They could not even tell us the CEO of OYO Hotels. A quick check online we discovered this and have contacted him via X. I suggest that everyone else that was let down on this day also contact the CEO (and other days as they admitted this had happened before...it's a regular thing...we're giving you this warning! DO NOT STAY HERE!!). I will do everything I can to drag this hotel's name through the mud. If anyone affected would like to contact me directly, we can sort this out as a group and hopefully we will get what they promised us, ie. compensation. samjaynecollier at gmail.com.
