The staff was great. The premises needs a severe renovation. Mold in the bathroom, hard to get ice if the kitchen isn't open (even when it is), I could see the mattress through the very thin bed sheets, lots of rust everywhere, difficult to get the TV to work, phone cord was broken (when was the last tome someone was in that room). I felt mislead based on the pictures on Expedia.

No shops nearby it’s on a back road the phone doesn’t work in room doors connecting to other rooms refuse to close bath tub not clean mold around the bath tub faucet pipe is coming loose television refuses to work WiFi was awful couldn’t get some ice either barely any staff the place needs to be updated

Bath shower tub drainage not working properly, during shower water filled up to your ankles, reported to front desk but problem were not resolved. Also breakfast was ok, the staff serving was ok but then cleaning your room are the same people with the same clothes while working in the restaurant 🤔 not sanitary

The property is exceptionally clean and well maintained! The food was top notch, and very flavorful with solid portions! Beach was cleaned daily fron seaweed, and raked! Immediate beach access was great to go for a snorkel or two!

Unprofessional owner

Stay was terrible. The pool had bugs in the water, not clean as shown in the photos. Wifi was choppy. The breakfast had a hair in the food and there were mosquitos inside the restaurant as well. I was told since the breakfast was complimentary I could not have it to go, I had to eat inside the restaurant where I was required to sit. The owner was extremely aggressive. I had 3 friends come by the hotel during the day to get dressed for an event we were attending that day, I was told that they could not come into the room unless I paid a day rate. The owner was adamant about this, insitsted it was hotel policy, which I asked to see the policy and was denied. The manager kindly negotiated for me to pay a certain rate which I agreed to pay. The friends subsequently left later that day after the event. Leaving myself and two guests in the room for the night. I was contacted by the owner at 11pm with false accusations that there were 8 persons in the room and he would call the police. I explained that there were 3 persons in the room. He insisted that I pay the additional charge immediately, otherwise he would call the police. I went down to the lobby in my pyjamas and paid the additional charge. I ended up in a verbal confrontation with the owner, which he continued his accusation that there were 8 persons in the room. Which no staff bothered to come to the room to validate this claim. It was the most uncomfortable stay I have experienced. I would not recommend anyone to go there.

Hotel with unexplored potential.

Rovanels would be great for a short or extended stay especially if you have a vehicle. The shuttle is an advantage although a trip in a taxi (from right outside) to airport or Store bay is a minimal price. My son and I stayed for one night in a pretty much deserted hotel so we had the pool to ourselves and only saw three other people at breakfast. Well kept room and surroundings and the hotel should have been busy!

The showers were faulty. Not good lighting in room no replacement light fitted. Couple of miles from the beach! Food could be better. Some friendly staff. Needs modernisation
