The check in clerk was very helpful and check in was easy. The property was basic, good for a quick one night stay but no real amenities on site. Our room had fresh paint throughout but definitely had a stale cigarette smoke smell lingering, like it was a smoking room long ago. Bed needed replacing, very saggy and has seen better days. Bit stuffy inside. Was fairly quiet at night which was good since we needed to air the room out. Didn't use the AC, older wall unit which would have been noisy. Good sized refrigerator which was nice. The bathroom needed new towels (super scratchy) and better lighting (brightness was almost sun-like but bluish, way too harsh). Needed some shelves to put your things. Tub floor felt off kilter at the bottom making me feel like I was tilting and it was going to fall out from beneath me. Overall just good for cheap place to sleep for one night but not for relaxing at. Got a great recommendation for dinner from the clerk, Lescombs Wine and Bistro. Definitely loved that!
