I had a disappointing stay at the Holiday Lodge in Los Angeles. The rooms are extremely tired and clearly in need of a full refresh. The overall condition of the property feels worn down, and it really seems like the place needs a complete reboot. There were also serious cleanliness concerns, including reports and signs of roaches, which made the stay very uncomfortable. The bathrooms in particular looked dirty and outdated, and overall the property is in desperate need of some TLC, fresh paint, and a full bathroom or shower remodel.
While the check-in process was relatively straightforward, the condition of the rooms overshadowed any positives. The building itself feels neglected, and it’s clear that maintenance and updates have not been a priority.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here in its current condition. With some serious renovations and attention to cleanliness, it could improve, but right now it falls short of basic expectations for comfort and hygiene.
