The place was dreadful, ran by young girl's it seemed, breakfast stated in booking from 7am, when quiered i was told thats old details and its from 8.30. No good for us leaving before 8am for crufts.
Heading to the room the hall was filthy, our room wasnt even hoovered, this simple thing would have made the room initially look better. The TV didn'work, not even 1 bedside lamp, shower didn't close properly wetting the floor, half a roll of toilet paper for 3 guests, no roll holder. Not a unit or towel rail so clothes or towels are laid on the toilet for private dressing or the dirty floor.
No mattress protector when checking the mattress which gave way it was so old when sat on, no filling, with just a huge dip in the centre. Then we saw all the stains it was unbelievable 😳 on arrival it stated newly refurbished, this must mean the furniture which was nice and clean, this was the only plus the place has.
Had we another option there's no way we would have stayed, sharing a single bed to avoid the one we dared look at. This venue should not even be supported on any booking platforms.
