We really enjoyed our stay overall! Having access to the pool and hot tubs until 11:00 PM was a huge plus, and the extra family activities, like the complimentary s'mores by the fire, made our trip even more enjoyable.
There were a couple of things that could be improved. First, the bed sizes didn't seem to match the room descriptions. The "king" bed felt much smaller than expected, and the room advertised as having "two queen beds" appeared to have full-size beds instead.
My biggest concern, however, was the vacation club/timeshare presentation. After checking in, we were introduced to someone who presented themselves as a travel guide offering discount passes and future travel rewards. It quickly turned into a sales pitch, and we felt pressured to schedule a meeting. We canceled the appointment the next day after realizing what it actually involved.
Unfortunately, that wasn't the end of it. We were approached at our hotel room door and encouraged multiple times to reconsider. One representative even told us it would help pay for his college tuition if we attended the meeting. While I understand everyone has a job to do, it made us feel uncomfortable and cornered. The presentation was initially framed as receiving travel credits, rather than clearly explaining it was related to a timeshare-style sales presentation.
