This was bittersweet. This was a trip I had been planning for years, chose this hotel because I’m a huge Godzilla fan. I had to wait to book the room because I could not book more than 6 months in advance.
I paid nearly $1000 a night to stay in the exclusive Godzilla room, and because I was under the impression that I would be able to go out on the terrace and have a meal in the cafe, the room I got was basic, the terrace was closed, and you had to purchase tickets to get into the cafe at least a day in advance, or they most likely would sell out, even if you paid nearly a thousand dollars a night. All of these things could have been avoided had Hotels.com had done some research. The hotel was fine, not what I had booked, certainly not what I was expecting, but overall the hotel was fine. Not sure who needs to be addressed about the lack of accuracy. Overall it was a real let down.
