Best spot for work travel in The Isa.

Rooms are beautiful here at Icon on Isa. I prefer to stay here every time. Check in is easy with the computer interface and downstairs is a great Anytime Fitness gym. Shops, takeaway places and pubs are just walking distance away, so perfect location. Rooms are very clean and modern and spacious, and beds and pillows are very comfy. Amenities are very good too. Bar fridge, microwave and kettle super appreciated! A/C always great too.

I would have liked the convenience of somewhere to safely store luggage while waiting for check-in and after checkout. In my case, because I arrived and departed by train I had to wait for at least 4 hours prior to check -in and a similar length of time after checkout. An outside storage facility for my luggage would have been very beneficial.

I didn't even go inside, the checkin was a nightmare, you have to checkin by a fuzzy display outside and there is no reception, if you need asisstance you get to talk to someone through an outside squawk box speaker with traffic in the background so it was extremely difficult to understand. I was expecting a motel with car parking like it said on wotif, but instead parking was out on the street in the CBD which is not acceptable, it would have been a nightmare to take my things to and from the room. The place is more like Cell Brock D to get into than a motel and they expect you to park your car and it's contents on the street to be vandalised or stolen. I only gave it one star because I couldn't give it a zero. This place was totally unacceptable, I'll skip MT Isa in future, and a big raspberry to wotif for even listing it, also the price stated on wotif was bumped up by $15 when it came to paying for it.

I did not stay there. I booked the room, it advrrtised freeparking,but ghe free parking was street parking opposite the hotel. No recrption or motel staff with available. It was street level curbside electronic checkin. The total experience was devoid of any human/staff contact. I eventually found a phone number to ring and cancel as i had paid by credit card all in all a horrible experience, particularly having to leave my car with belongings parked out on the street not even reasonably close or monitorable from the rooms i would suggest. I bpoked into another place and it was exemplary

No parking is unacceptable. Need to carry one's luggage across the (busy) street. First time checking in on arrival is complicated , especially for elderly. Location is difficult to find. We have had much better for quite a bit less (money).

it is contactless check in. you checked-in with a machine, I did not like it. I like talk with people. I do not want this technology in future. Room is clean. you only can park your car on street. traffic noise.

Great stay, would stay again

Stay was great. Hotel was lovely and let us check in early. Only negative was no elevator to take luggage upstairs, and the bar fridge was small and the freezer didnt work and was iced up. Would definetly stay again. Thankyou

Great hotel in awesome spot

Beautiful place to stay - excellent location. Walking distance to pretty much everything. Police station across the road, so very secure. Gym next door with terrific facilities. Great staff, very helpful and responsive. Bed is super comfy, the apartment is beautifully clean and has great amenities. Will stay here again.
