We had a nice week long stay in February at this hotel in a basic cabin. The room was large with stained concrete floors, separate bath area (also spacious) and two private patios, though we only used the one which entered into our room since the other one was just dirt. The room was quiet with a rustic design, on the ground floor, and in a building with 3 other rooms. It was also just steps from the beach. Housekeeping was great with consistent, daily service. Our towels were replenished when we wanted and soaps and shampoos replenished as needed.
We had only two meals at the restaurant, one lunch upon arrival and breakfast on the day of departure. Both were good but on the pricier side for Zipolite.
Two bottles of drinking water were provided daily and a water cooler was available to fill a reusable water bottle near the Mexoni gift shop.
The only two minor issues was our room did not have a coffee maker (though I think upgraded rooms may have one) and coffee at the restaurant was approximately $5 USD, a little steep in my opinion. It would be nice if all rooms had complimentary coffee/tea. My last concern was that the staff contacted me via WhatsApp App to arrange for a taxi on our day of departure a few days prior. I expressed we wished to pay by credit card and was told that would be okay. On our departure it seemed no one had made arrangements, and though we again requested to pay by credit card, the taxi that arrived would only accept cash so we had to stop at an
