I'll keep it real, I was nervous about booking this place for my last minute summer trip to Rome. I didn't have much information to go off of, and it was hard to find anything about it. However, it turned out to be FAR better than I thought!
The location is very convenient. The Coliseum is about a ten minute walk away, and the Termini is only about fifteen minutes. The neighborhood is astoundingly very quiet, and also very safe as well.
Gladys was an amazing host, and treated me with kindness the moment she met me. She gave me a recommendation of decent stores and restaurants in the city, and even arranged for a driver to drop me off with my checkout time.
The room is perfect if you just want a decent place to stay while you explore the city. It really does feel like you get your own crib. I liked that everything was completely clean from the moment that I walked in, and there wasn't anything that made me feel like the value didn't match the price.
I tend to sleep with earplugs in, but even without them on there was never a moment where I noticed any distracting noise either from inside or outside my room.
After seeing how busy and crowded things got within most of the city, I started to appreciate the area even more.
I really enjoyed my stay, and I'm glad I took a chance on this one. It's the definition of a hidden gem and one I'd recommend if you're looking for something more peaceful. In fact, this would actually be my first choice the next time I come back!
