This restaurant is not a part of the Golf Club! It is an old but nice "guesthouse" that has been modernised and extended out to provide a more roomy bedroom. The attached Ethos Restaurant was high quality and we enjoyed our dinner there. Breakfast in the same space was well provided and enjoyed.

We had a lovely stay here. Drinks by the fireplace Beautiful views Clean, tidy and unique An absolute highlight was the staff, especially Michael who was exceptional. Would highly recommend for a getaway.

Links house has a very cosy vibe. The restaurant dining was superb and the complimentary breakfast was a lovely added bonus. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

The bathroom was dirty, particularly behind the bath, tile grout was also smudged along the tile walls. The management were very polite and positive about the feedback and thankful I mentioned the complaint so they can rectify it. I have to say that although very fresh, the breakfast (included) was somewhat underwhelming compared to other breakfasts included in the price at other Hotels. 2 eggs, a piece of toast and a slice of bacon. At the very least some grilled tomato and a proper coffee (extra charge) could be included. Overall a great little Hotel with very polite staff.

The decor was ye olde memories of yesteryear. Also music. I’m fond of traditional but found it to be tacky and a bit gloomy. The room was tiny and the bathroom cramped. Pleasant to sit in the lounge in front of the fire. We found the restaurant dinner overpriced and the food mediocre. Dishes were different for the sake of being different without regard for taste. Service and wine good. Breakfast ordinary. I was offered scrambled eggs with roast tomato. Don’t understand how other reviewers found much to like. We were left disappointed.

The stay was ok. A bit expensive on the weekend, the midweek price is about what you would expect. The room was generally clean but was dusty that flared up my husbands allergies - either the curtains or behind the bed, or the decorative pillows and throw. Breakfast was ok - poached eggs were served severely undercooked and then the next lot came in extremely over.

Links House is the perfect venue for the quintessential Highlands escape. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and cosy, complimentary breakfast - delicious. Highlight was sitting by the fire in the communal lounge room and of course the staff, Michael is the absolute best! Thanks for a memorable stay!

Outstanding service from all the staff, they went above and beyond to make our stay special, the food was divine at both dinner and breakfast and the bed nice and soft, cosy lounge area with a fireplace to chill with drinks

Rooms are beautiful and tastefully decorated. Bathrooms are a bit on the small side but other wise in room ammenities are ample. Breakfast was lovely and satisfying set in a gorgeous space with beautiful views. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We would recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful Highlands weekend away.

Rooms were small but very clean, beds very comfortable. Breakfast was included and was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely location in a 1928 hotel. Highly recommend if you want a pleasant setting with some old worldly charm

This was a last minute booking and the staff were excellent, from check-in to dinning to check-out. It’s a very cute place, worthy of many photos. The food at the restaurant was great, it was hard to decide what to eat, but I had the prawn pasta. Parking was easy at the back of the property, however if you’re not comfortable walking under the light of the moon, get dropped off at the front for check in.

The staff are very friendly. Location: Links road is great for taking walks, it’s quiet and lined with charming country cottages and the golf course. Property: the 6+ pot holes in the unpaved driveway are dangerous for guests vehicles, almost broke our front tyres. The garden is charming but lacks TLC, there’s only one tiny outdoor mat for the block of rooms, not enough for the rainy season. Outdoor furniture is old and uncomfortable. The library or sitting room is cosy and inviting with comfortable and clean furniture. The two free Breakfast choices are healthy and sufficient. Room: furniture is cheap and outdated, fridge compressor is noisy, mattress is too soft for me. Bathroom is small and barely big enough for only one person at a time which is inconvenient for a 2 person room (we are 5’3 and 5’10 both under 160lbs), bathroom sink (5”x8”) is tiny, couldn’t wash face without water splashing all over the floor, shower has no door so water splashing is inevitable. Tiny TV, and the worst of all, floor to floor dark color carpet. We will not go back, it should be listed as 3 star, not 4.

The Keepers Cottage was found to be dark, cold and lacking the "creature comforts"we've come to expect as North Americans upon Check- In.ie no heat, no comfy chair +ottoman, no drawers to put clothes in, just a few hangers off a High Open Shelf, soft mattress AND an old ill-fitted door with no security - just a push button lock from the int door handle (?). I found this inadequate and did not sleep well at all. No phone in room and no one available at Inn after 8 pm. Heater did not work appropriately, no insulation in cottage, hard to get hot water, and was awoken at 2 am by a loud thump" on the roof - apparently Possums are noturnal animals that jump from trees in the middle of the night! It was all part of the unique ' Stralia experience. Felt like I was Camping, with some shelter but not much. If you like "roughing it on vacation" then the Keepers Cottage is for you!!

The staff are very friendly. The room very clean. Very quiet. Recently renovated. Ensuite is small but has everything. The Links was the first to have ensuites and the House is nearly 100 years old. Good breakfast. Would stay again
