Okay, for the last maybe 10 years whenever I travel to Winnipeg I've been staying here. It's next to the airport, it's not far from my customers so in that respect it's convenient
For dining you need to drive but by now I know where to go so that's okay for me but if I was someone looking for a place for one or two nights and unfamiliar with Winnipeg, I would not recommend it.
A couple things caught me out this time.
1. New ownership and that brings changes, no disrespect but it's changed
2. At what point did room maid service become an option? I've been staying at Hotels and Motels for 60 years and I never had to request maid service. It's part of what you pay for when you book a room, right?
If maid service is to become optional for the hotel then there should be a discounted rate if you don't require or want maid service.
The pandemic allowed the Hotels to get lazy, and I don't care for it.
