Great place to stay across the Mersey from Liverpool. David is welcoming, helpful and makes a great breakfast. Not much nearby but its right at the ferry terminal and public transport. Recommend

Brilliant stay and the people who run it were really helpful and friendly! Really close to the ferry & the station, clean rooms and amazing breakfast! Would absolutely stay there again! Great views on the liverpool highline as well! We loved it!

Great location, amazing people! Easy to get across to Liverpool, New Brighton just up the road and right by the ferry. Family run and they’re a lovely bunch, food was brilliant. Altogether a great stay!

Staggeringly good hotel! Forget all the chains, this independent, family-run place is lit. Spotlessly clean rooms, phenomenal staff, handy shops for emergencies or a short drive to takeaways and restaurants. A stonesthrow from the ferry terminal, a hop across the river for Liverpool, and a great place to explore the Wirral from. I wish all hotels did it like the Liver View, because this is how it's supposed to be done - and all for an extremely affordable rate. The car park is behind the hotel, securely tucked away. The breakfast is handmade to order and will keep you going all day. There's literally nothing to fault here and everything to love. I don't return to hotels, but I will 100% return to this one the next time I need to be in the area!

This hotel is very conceniently located near to Liverpool on the Wallasey side of the Mersey River within walking distance of the Mersey Ferry Terminal. The site has off street parking and the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. The breakfast food and service was excelent. The hotel has no lift so not suuitable for anyone with a walking disability.

A smashing venue, unpretentious but quality and very much value for money. Check in swift and room well prepared spick and span. Parking easily available. Hotel situated close to the Ferry terminal for travel into Liverpool. Staff (Dave) very knowledgeable on travel and what to do

2nd stay at this hotel. Excellent hotel in a peaceful location. Great transport links by ferry, bus or train to the city centre The Albert Docks, Tate Museum, The Beatles Story and Liverpool One. Very spacious and clean rooms. Great breakfast with a variety of choice. Welcoming, friendly and helpful owners. Free car parking. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everyone was very friendly and the rooms were nice (a little warm in the summer, but they do provide a fan!). Breakfast was good, and came with the appearance of a very cute dog. They're very helpful explaining transport options, especially the travel card we used extensively (£6.40 for unlimited travel on all trains, buses and ferry journeys within Liverpool each day), and recommending places to go. Absolutely would return if we're back in Liverpool

The whole place was immaculate, the staff were very helpful and breakfasts were lovely, we couldn’t fault anything and would recommend it to people. A few minutes to the ferry to cross the Mersey to Liverpool, a few minutes longer to the tunnel to cross for the Isle of Man. A very short drive to New Brighton for lots of places to eat.

We had an absolutely fabulous 4-day stay. Everything was perfect from checking to our room on top floor with the cracking view of the mersey and the city of Liverpool. The room was spotlessly clean everything you could want. Breakfast was fantastic. Choice of cereals everything was freshly cooked to order and lovely bread for toast. The location was spot on on the quiet side of the mersey. A 3-minute walk to sea come ferry for a ride on the snowdrop the legendary mersey ferry dropping you off on the city centre side of the mersey. Plus the bus sation is also at the ferry terminal. A big massive thank you to Dave. Such a happy chappie and made us laugh all the time and nothing was too much bother and full of local knowledge. Definitely recommend and will definitely be visiting again .

We had a lovely stay at the Liver View, Dave & Cheryl were really helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean and tidy and the breakfast was delicious 😋. The hotel is really well located for local transport to get into Liverpool city centre quickly and easily. Highly recommended 😁.
