We enjoyed our stay at the Manorhaus, it was nicely furnished, and we had a lovely room.

Room designed for look not comfort, bath in window ridiculous, and platform was a Haszard to feet. annoying tiny step into shower. TV position completely wrong for chair/settee or bed.

Gavin was a great host. Hotel in excellent position, parking wasn’t “on-site” but the car park in Dog lane is a two minute walk away and free(with pass provided by hotel). We had a small double and was big enough with nice bed , clothes hanging , tea /coffee/ biscuits and en-suite. Breakfast was good , we sat next to window on both days and was intrigued by historic graffiti etched into shutters. I would recommend to anyone who would like to visit area. But one word of caution if you have a crafter in your group bring a big wallet as Lavinia Stamps flagship store “ The Dreamatorium ” in very close.😉

Lovely stay at the Manor Haus, the room was spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable for our family if 3, we would definitely stay here again, on our next visit to north Wales!

More tea & coffee, another robe, hand soap by the sink would have been welcome. The windows in our room didnt not open so we used a fan on the hottest weekend of the year so far. The front garden needs some attending and could be really lovely again. Enjoyed the area - Castle grounds are a must. Parking is not far and with a permit.

Stylish place to stay

We have stayed at the Manorhaus several times and it is always a pleasure. Gavin was particularly helpful and welcoming and our dinner was tremendous. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Ruthin.

Gavin and Christopher have put a lot of thought into giving you an enjoyable stay at the Manorhaus Ruthin. The rooms are decorated reflecting welsh designs. The dining room has beautiful sculptures. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with a lot of choice. The coffee was excellent. Overall we had a great week end stay. The Manorhaus is only minutes walking into the centre where there are several excellent eateries/restaurants

Friendly

Very friendly very accommodating, happy to help, breakfast was beautiful plenty to choose from, close to many bars, pubs takeaways and only a short walk from the castle. Nice calm homely yet very well presented with every thing you could possibly want or need and if not there's always some one to help or advise, will definitely be back realy enjoyed ourselves xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

A great little spot

Great little family run boutique hotel. Lovely little bar and restaurant and even a tiny little basement cinema. It's only available for special film nights or private parties, so didn't get to see a film there yet, but I will...!! Well worth a visit..

Very comfortable room, clean and interesting artwork about . We didn’t see anyone from the hotel as it’s self check in and check out, all a bit odd, but it worked ok.

Period Stay

lovely period building / very Emily Brontë :-) Owners were very helpful and the rooms pleasant. Parking is a little convoluted as you have to go to the house collect the parking voucher and return to the car and do the same on departure but the car park is only a few minutes walk away.

We stayed just one night here as we were touring North Wales. Our room was lovely, really comfortable and spacious. We were given a free parking permit for a car park that was just a couple mins walk away. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and beautifully presented. We loved it and cant recommend the Manorhaus Ruthin enough.

Great hosts and nice guesthouse/b&b

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The property is old (steeped in history) but the room had all the features we needed. The instructions were excellent and the owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. The bed was a little creaky and the pillows were a little thin/soft for my preferences, but perfectly comfortable and adequate. Great value for money. Great location. Highly recommend the breakfast!! A great stay - would stay again.

Charming and delightful

What a delightful experience staying at this charming yet uniquely boutique hotel. The comfort surpassed expectations, and the hospitality of the owners was exceptional. The culinary delights were truly impressive. Additionally, the events and cinema nights added a special touch should you be a local resident, loved this concept. . Located conveniently in Ruthin, it's the perfect spot for those attending events at the castle.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with individually designed and comfortable rooms in the middle of a lovely town within easy reach of lots of lovely walks or days out. The reason we've stayed there four times now is the warmth of the welcome and quality of the hospitality. The food is exceptionally good quality and excellent value for money. You should dine in the restaurant at least once during your stay. There's a nice little bar that's perfect for a relaxing drink. Gavin and Chris are very accommodating and welcoming. Can't recommend Manorhaus highly enough.
