Be aware, NOT service dog friendly. I am a 100% disabled Veteran with a dog. The website says dog friendly. They are not.
I was literally sitting in their parking lot when I booked the room (saying dog friendly for $189 bucks. ). I walked in, and checked in. The front desk woman asked if I had a dog. I said yes, and she said that will be an additional $40 dollars. I said wow, that was excessive and I couldn’t afford another $40 dollars and I asked to cancel. She said that’s fine but it’s last minute cancellation and I won’t authorize a refund. WHAT??? I literally made the reservation 5 minutes prior, they sprung an additional $40 on me and now won’t let me cancel. Terrible and so short sighted. Sure they got my $230 bucks but hopefully you all read this and go elsewhere.
In addition the next morning I asked to speak with a manager about this and he/she would not come out and talk to me. Front desk person said they would call. Never did! Terrible organization, terrible treatment.
In there reply to this, they will probably say it’s standard and it’s less than most hotels. However, I’m returning from a month long trip, have stayed at 18 hotels and not one charged a service dog fee! So, NO, it’s not standard!!
