I have stayed in a different Bob W accommodation so I was expecting a similar level when booking this place. Unfortunately, things went wrong from the beginning. When I arrived, my profile was not updated so I could not enter my room. After 15 minutes of getting drenched in sweat from dragging my bag up and down the staircase and having to correct the support person in the WhatsApp who could not locate my booking, the issue got resolved.
The room is very small and stuffy. There is no aircon and the window only opens a bit. The cleanliness was not great - there was a long black hair on my towel, dried coffee grounds inside the cafetiere and the floor had clubs of dust. The kitchenette amenities are lacking - there is nowhere to clean the dishes other than the small sink in the bathroom and even if you wanted, there was no sponge or washing liquid provided. There is also nowhere to sit when eating other than on the bed or on the toilet. The walls are very thin and provide little to no soundproofing - I could hear the noisy neighbours and there was a lot of traffic (and I am not a light sleeper). The last day I got woken up at a silly hour by the noise. When I messaged about it, I was offered a complimentary late check out (I was there for work) and then complimentary breakfast (again, I was there for work and not going to hang around). I was also accused of not raising an issue earlier (noise is not a new complaint from guests and earplugs are not a decent solution).
