2 days prior to my arrival, I emailed an inquiry about the room asking if the room was on ground floor. I received no confirmation about my inquiry. Upon arrival, there was no one at the front desk for check-in and music was playing in the lobby. I waited about 15 minutes before someone was able to check me in. The clerk wasn't very talkative during check-in. I was given my room key and room number. I asked the clerk what floor the room was on and he told me the second floor. My inquiry wasn't addressed, which irritated me after having knee surgery in early June. The room, although spacious, smelled very musty and unpleasant. My room key worked initially, but when I went to put my belongings in the room, the key didn't work. I had to put my belongings back in the car and go back to the front desk to have my key card reset. I again had to wait 5 minutes in the lobby because the clerk wasn't at the desk.
