I have requested a full refund from cozy suites. My stay started off horribly as I was not able to access my room at all via the cozy suite system. The key cubby thing was broken. As you may be aware, this isn’t a real hotel, they are rented out apartments that cozy suites treats like an Airbnb. There is no one on site to deal with no help other than through your cell phone. It took me an hour and 15 minutes to get a key foband at that point I only had one because of the on-site employee not associated with cozy suites. He was a grid employee who went out of his way to be helpful because he could tell we were not going to get access to a room via the cozy suites process.
Once I was in the room, the disappointment continued. The gross disgusting, college dorm like setting was underwhelming at best. There was a stained futon in the middle of a room that slid around on the crappy plastic floors.
There was no hairdryer in the room. There was basically a mattress on a boxspring on the floor. No nightstand to be seen.
I’m sure this is a cost-effective way to make money for cozy suites, but the entire experience and the actual accommodations were terrible. I cannot believe I paid over $200 for this experience.
I think the most upsetting issues were it is an unsafe process. I was essentially locked in a hallway with no way out trying to get my key out of a wall mounted unit for over an hour. I was not able to get back into the building or exit the building as the doors were loc
