From the moment we checked in, the receptionist was unfriendly. The lock on the balcony window in the room we were initially assigned was broken, allowing anyone to enter. We requested assistance, but instead of offering to change to a different room, they offered to repair it. After an hour, they told us the repairman would take a long time to fix it, and assigned us a different room. They initially offered us a downgraded room, and only when we told them we didn't want that did they give us a room of the same standard. The room we received smelled awfully moldy. We wanted to leave immediately, but since we'd already paid for three nights and four days, and HOTELS.COM doesn't allow cancellations, we're considering forfeiting our money and moving to another hotel.
