If I could give negative stars I would. I attempted to check into this property with a car full of kids after driving 5.5 hours and I could not get into the the house. The check in instructions said to enter the code which I did, and the lock appeared to open, but when I pressed in the thumb latch, the door would not open. As a fellow Airbnb host myself, I am familiar with the Shlage keyless entry system and I thought perhaps the housekeepers had accidentally locked the deadbolt. So I went around to the back of the house to access the lockbox that was supposed to house a key on the hose bib. There was no lock box or key on said hose bib. I spent an hour trying to call the homeowner. She would not answer. Evolve tried getting in touch with the homeowner as well. No luck. Finally I gave up because it was pitch black. My kids were exhausted and it did not appear that I was gaining entry to the property. As I’m checking into a hotel, evolve gets in touch with me with the home owner on the line who tells me I needed to turn a knob on the door handle. There was NO KNOB on the door handle just like there was no extra key or lock box on the hose bib at the back of the house. I am now disputing the charge because we never gained access to the home. Travelers beware. This house (the exterior) is dark, there is no parking, and there were spiders and bugs everywhere.
