Firstly this is in a lovely location when you want to be close to the ocean front. However, walking on an evening i did feel a little unsafe with the area. I walked back about 10pm.. so it was late but not too late.
The check in yourself system im unsure of,
I've never come across this before, a little un personal but it's fine .. although i had an issue trying to get in to the hotel initially once i was in, i was fine.
The room itself with a key code on the door was great. The door itself i felt needed an extra safety.. maybe a chain. Asbi heard someone trying to get in to my room last night. I think it was accidental but still made me nervous. Plus there was no spy hole so i couldn't see what was going on.. and i didn't feel safe to open the door.
My fault not specifing a room on the lower or ground fall as i have back issues and i was on the very top floor room 9.. this was difficult and painful walking up all the flights of steps.
The room was fine, certain areas have attention to detail which is nice. It's a basic room and i felt for the price a little overpriced considering the following:
The bed was hard
Pillows not comfortable
Curtains and blinds... no point to them as at 5am this morning it was bright in the bedroom.. should have slept outside!
The curtains didn't close - thank God for hair clips
The window seal has gone on the window and cold air is coming through
The bedroom was very cold. Thankfully there were 2 light blankets, i needed both to feel warm
