The property was a converted early 1920’s house, with graceful features such as a beautiful carved wooden staircase, front porch, and French doors retained. Our room was large and comfortable, and included two reclining chairs, as well as a desk and chair. With all that furniture, plus a dresser, it wasn’t crowded at all. For a longer term stay, the cedar closet would be very appreciated. The bed was comfortable. The only drawback was that the hand towel rack in the bathroom was up pretty high, and was quite a stretch for this short woman. The bath towel rack only held one towel, so the second person had to drape a towel over one of the chairs to dry.
Oh, the room was well lit, the a/c worked well, and there was a ceiling fan so we didn’t have to turn the a/c down really cool.
