The hotel was ok. The room was clean, quiet, and I felt safe and comfortable, although the hallways and such did have a cigarette smell.
Likely a Hotels.com thing, but my name, my reservation number, and phone number were all needed and after trying each one it was no, we don't have you in our system and me worrying - especially since I had already paid.
Just looking at the top glaze there was no possible way I was even dipping a toe in the pool. A shame because I picked this place over a closer one so I could relax in the pool at the end of the day.
The business station with the printer - their own computer wasn't even connecting to their own wifi. Thankfully I am a tech sort of guy and got it working after about 15 minutes. I then had to go beg for paper and for the briefest moment I worried she would say no - thank goodness I was dressed in my business attire and she decided to give me some.
And again, a hotels.com thing and a trip insurance thing that I bought - but I checked out about 8 am with one night left on my booking and was still charged for it. Jumping through hoops with the insurance and might not get it back. Again, not really a THEM thing, although I did check out early... oh well.
