Great spot. Once you get inside, you’re greeted by an impressive early modern courtyard, with a set of stairs that are in themselves inspiring. As far as the hotel itself goes, a mere floor of a much grander building, everything is modern and efficient. The breakfast was typical Italian fare, with coffee, juice, fruit, and an excellent selection of pastries and jams. While a bit of a trek from the port, the hotel is a mere fall away from the train station, connecting you to the rest of Italy and Europe. If there were a downside, it’s a bit anonymous, with no central lounge or place for staff and travellers to interact.
