The only reason that this is not a one is that the staff seemed to be friendly when I spoke to them. Other than this, it was an unpleasant experience. There was a foul odor in the hallway the day we got in (Thursday 3/26/26.) It smelled like staleness mixed with mildew. I did notice that the A/C unit at the far end of our hallway on the second floor was unplugged, so that may have contributed to it. The room was obviously worn down with stains on the carpet, a constantly dripping sink in the bathroom, a bathroom door that would not lock, a small gap at the base of the door, a loose tub faucet, etc... Our door keys deactivated several times throughout the 3 day stay. On Saturday we saw that there was a new sign posted to the outside of the building stating that there was a tax lien on the building. This worried my youngest child, thinking that we were going to come back to the hotel to have all of our stuff gone. Lastly, not the fault of the hotel, but about 30 minutes before I checked out there was a power flash. The elevator doors opened and let us in, but the elevator would not move. We had to carry all of our stuff down the stairs (including my 2 bowling bags full of bowling balls.)
