Room had an unpleasant smell, but figured I could switch after coming back later that evening. However, the lobby hours on the site did not match what was posted on the door to the lobby. This meant that I couldn’t change rooms for the night and the morning checkout time didn’t start at 7am, but 9am instead and even then the worker was almost 30 minutes late and during checkout told us we could have just left the key in the room and leave, which didn’t seem to match the policy listed in the room. The attendant also mentioned that the $100 deposit would be returned within hours of housekeeping checking the room and as of writing this review, it has been almost a week and my deposit hasn’t been returned. I know I left the room in good condition and recorded the status of the room as I left.
The two stars are only because even though the room had a musty smell, it was at least clean, and gave the appearance that housekeeping had at least been in the room. If the room didn’t have the smell, it would have been an average experience
