Disgusting! Terrible! Absolutely vile! More doss house than B&B. Do not stay here, you have been warned! Photos on the website are extremely outdated - the property definitely does not look like that now. The whole place requires a serious refurb. From the amount of filth in the room, this place has not been cleaned in years. The bed looked like something out of a squat, the divan was absolutely filthy, the mattress was not the same size as the base and the bedding was not fresh. The pillows were so old the foam filling had disintegrated. There was only one light bulb working, which hardly gave out any light because of the amount of thick dust on the light fitting. The shower head has not been cleaned in years, and there is some serious black mould in the shower tray. Towels were dirty. Room smelt of cigarettes! I could go on and on about how dirty this place is.
Needless to say we did not stay there! Original booked Economy City View room, but realised it did not have a private bathroom so "upgraded" to Junior Double. We paid £176.82 in total including the £60 to " upgrade" . Even though the photos on the website are false advertising, we were refused a refund. Hotels.com shame on you for not checking the properties you partner with!
