I stayed at Hotel Point Loma and would give it about a 3-star experience. The location is definitely one of the best things about it. It’s close to the marina, restaurants, and only a short drive to many San Diego attractions, which made getting around very easy.
The staff was friendly and check-in was simple, which I appreciated after traveling. The room had basic amenities like a mini fridge and microwave, which were convenient for a short stay.
However, the hotel does feel a bit dated and could definitely use some updates. One of the biggest issues during my stay was the Wi-Fi, which was very spotty and didn’t work well most of the time, making it difficult to rely on the internet.
Overall, it’s a decent budget option in a great location, but there are a few things that could be improved to make the stay better.
