Didn't try to cook. Adequate kitchen for coffee, tea, keeping fridge items. We bought breakfast items at the sainsburys down the corner and ate our own breakfast.

Easy check in. Very clean apartment. Nice and spacious in the living area. Dyson aircon was useful in the warmer weather. Only thing is when we arrived the heating was switched on to the max and it’s summer so it was like walking into a sauna. The bedroom linen was lovely but a bit warm for summer as the apartment does hold heat quite well. However, it was a brilliant two night stay and really close walking distance to the centre.

A clean, tidy, and spacious apartment with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Easy to find and within walking distance of York. The secure garden was a great bonus, and the apartment was well designed with a good bathroom and plenty of storage space. A comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. I would highly recommend.

The kings room was beautiful and cozy. The space was great and clean. It was a bit freaky to get the key since it was a brick wall you had to go into but it ended up not going anywhere and just had a bunch of keys and also it’s closer to the train station than posted but honestly you can walk the city walls into the city centre which is only 10 mins away. It is a gated condo and used a fob to get into the gate and into the building which made us feel safe. Overall we really liked the condo, the location and the city! Great trip and wish we stayed longer.

Fabulous apartment in a quiet location and yet just a few mins walk from the railway station. Secure, gated complex with a communal garden. Spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Good communication from Cosy Collection. Please note location on Hotels.com is incorrect and correct location is shown on Cosy Collection. Would not hesitate to return.

Perfect stay

Fabulous apartment, immaculate throughout & fantastic location, only criticism were the pillows which were hard and lumpy, so we didn’t get the best sleep. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely apartment in a really good position, only a 5 min walk to the river and 10 mins from the shambles, when we arrived at the apartment there was a welcome pack waiting for us which was nice of , the apartment had everything you need, nice lounge, really comfortable bed, nice bathroom, just cannot fault anything, would highly recommend.

Excellent stay at Kings 23 York. Easy self check-in & Check-out, everything explained via email before arrival. Property immaculately clean with everything you need for a enjoyable stay. Great apartment, really well situated especially if you are arriving by train. Directions and instructions very clear with good communication from the property. Would be a lovely place for a coupke of nights, even better if staying for a longer time period.

Wonderful apartment

Everything was perfect. The apartment was cleann, spacious and comfortable. The box of York goodies was a welcome suprise. The apartment is a five minute from the Railway station which is extremely convenient. It's also very close to the City centre, tha Minster and loads of attractions.

We had a wonderful 7-night stay in this apartment. It was much bigger than expected, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the shower was excellent with a large cubicle, and the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of crockery, dishes and cutlery. Our only disappointment was that there were just two mugs. We requested more, but unfortunately they never arrived. The apartment was very warm, even with the air conditioning on. We would have liked to open the bedroom window, but it appeared to be stuck. As the apartment faces the road, there was some early morning noise from deliveries to the pub opposite and from the bin lorries, so light sleepers may want to be aware of that. A couple of small improvements would make a big difference. The sofa cushions need replacing as they have very little filling left, and for stays longer than three days it would be helpful to provide extra towels, as one bath towel each for seven nights wasn't really enough for us. The location was great for us, around a 15–20 minute walk into the city centre. We also discovered the bus from outside the railway station, which took only 10 minutes and was a lovely way to see a bit more of York. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment. With just a few small improvements, it would be close to perfect. Thank you for hosting us.

Booking this reservation through Expedia, I wasn’t expecting a full apartment. The place was very clean, and the welcome gift was appreciated. The portable AC unit worked great, and I appreciated the Dyson fan in the bedroom. There’s no view, and it was a little noisy when other residents were leaving for work in the morning and trucks were driving by, but the perks outweighed the negatives. The kitchen was nicely stocked with glasses, dishes, and cookware. The host was communicative, and the check-in instructions were spot on.
