I’ve written to the manager twice since my stay as instructed, due to the stay.
Despite providing his email address (that I confirmed as correct at check out via a secondary staff member) - I have been completely ignored.
There were so many issues but I’ll keep it brief:
From check in, repeated key issues, details I’ll retain for the direct complaint, as I hoped to rectify this prior to any reviews. (It’s 5+ wks since 1st email & 2.5 since follow up)
I had to move rooms, both were dirty, we’re talking a good load of old chips under the bed & mould in the bathrooms, 1st bathroom sink wouldn’t drain & what appeared to be waste came back up.
The 2nd “upgraded” room, was worse in cleanliness, but I had no energy.
The electric went mid stay just in my room (2nd) no shower gel or basic amenities provided in upgrade room that was still dirty & despite requesting some, which was agreed -it never arrived.
Manager came to sort electrics late in the evening, I stated I would be making a written complaint, & received his email address there & then. He offered a later checkout & chat then, however, it was late & my son with additional needs, needed to sleep, as did I. I explicitly stated that I’ll be leaving at standard checkout time due to an appointment & that my son needed to sleep & I would email in the coming week. All sorted…
11am checkout, 10am alarm for me, 10:30 for my son & we’re woken up pre 9am with room calls being asked to state the complaint under management instruction!
