There was no phone, no dresser, no clocks in the room, the door didn’t latch properly so you had to use the deadbolt to keep it closed. Plus, on our last morning the housekeeper tried to barge in around 8am without announcing himself… fortunately, I had the security chain in place so the door didn’t open all the way. The hallway leading to the 1st floor rooms had a really strange smell, also. The walls are not insulated so we heard our neighbors loud and clear; along with their voices, their bed was tattooing a beat on the wall all 7 times they got amorous. Lucky for us, he never lasted more than 30 seconds at a time so he needs more cardio. In his life.
We visit nearby Watseka several times a year to see our grand daughter and we will NEVER stay at this motel again.
