We had a good overall experience during our stay. The room was as expected — nothing extraordinary, but comfortable and clean. One of the highlights was a very kind receptionist who spoke Portuguese with us and made us feel welcome from the start.
However, unfortunately, the check-out experience left a negative impression. On our last day, I explained to the man at the reception that I had to leave earlier than planned due to a flight change, and asked about the possibility of a refund for the unused nights. He responded in a very rude and cold manner, simply stating that “it’s not possible” — with no explanation, no willingness to help, and no empathy whatsoever.
That moment stood in stark contrast to the otherwise decent experience we had. It’s a shame to leave with that final feeling.
