Problems included:
1: Difficult to find due to road closure and inadequate signage on the alternative route.
2: Time to eat dictated by the chef. I checked in at about 6.30 pm and was told I would have to eat at 6.45 pm or else wait until after 8.00 pm. The dining area had plenty of capacity,so it appeared that it was the capacity of the kitchen that was the issue.
Similarly, I was told that I had to eat breakfast at 8.00 am or else wait until after 10.00 am. Once again, the breakfast room had enough capacity, so again it appeared that it was the capacity of the kitchen that was the issue.
Having spent more time than expected finding Faithleg, I was disappointed that the times for my evening meal and breakfast were dictated to me without reasonable alternative options being offered. As someone in my 70s, It was a bit like what might be expected in a boarding school.
