The hotel foyer and pub area are very lovely, great cosy atmosphere in the public bar, however the rooms are very outdated. Furniture in room very old and some piece was separating at the joints. The bed was old and very hard, pillows were also flat as pancakes and very uncomfortable, I had to put the bathroom towels underneath to give them some height. I could hear everything in the bathroom when they were filling up the bath, the water pressure running through the pipes in the room and the man in the bath right down to his washing and other bodily functions were like i was in the same room.
The staff in the pub area was very nice and helpful as it was raining beyond belief.
