The room hadn't been vacuumed as I saw particles on the floor. The bathroom was in need of some repairs: the towel bar was almost out of the wall, the tub had peeling and cracking, and baseboards coming off. It had one washcloth for two people.
It did have a working TV, a microwave, and a mini fridge.
The bed was a spring mattress, hard and uncomfortable.
The outside lock didn't work properly and took several times to get in.
There's an extension cord running from inside, out through a vent, through the crack in the sidewalk to power outside lights in a tree.
The bathroom lights were all different shades, white, yellow, and burnt out and covered in dust.
The pool outside was an eyesore as it was almost empty and what was in there was dirty (it is winter) but who wants to see that.
The lady came out to check us in, wearing cleaning gloves and exclaiming she was cleaning. We don't know what but she handled my ID with these dirty gloves.
It was a quiet area across from the police station. The AC was set in celsius, I'm assuming as the number was stuck on 13 and the only adjustment we could make was off.
There was plenty of parking, and you could walk to multiple different coffee shops or restaurants within the area, within like 3 minutes.
