I just called the phone number on the business card I was provided by a front desk employee this morning after checking out, but no one answered the phone and I was unable to leave a voicemail.Ā
I am wholly dissatisfied with my recent stay at your hotel. When my boyfriend booked the reservation online last weekend, there was no indication the hotel was currently in the middle of a major renovation, rendering the premises unacceptable and unfit for guests. Upon arrival, we noted the entire lobby was an active construction site, with tiles and hardwood floor panels missing, exposed concrete, dust and debris throughout the entire entrance and lobby area, and caution tape haphazardly tied to a random chair. Not only was the state of the lobby visually displeasing, but it created a safety hazard that was in no way relayed to us prior to our arrival. Had we known this would be the situation, we would have booked a reservation elsewhere.Ā
One of the most egregious issues we encountered during our stay was the dysfunctional elevators. Again, we were not notified upon booking our room or when we checked in that the elevators were not working or that the elevators would be shut down between Friday night and Saturday morning for what was described as āpre-planned renovations.ā Had we been given the courtesy of this information, we would have booked a room elsewhere.
