Check in was friendly but there was no information about restaurant or breakfast times & no information pack in the room.
The room was excellent- apart from the plug to the coffee machine not working. Lovely bathroom.
Our even meal in Isaac’s was delicious.
Sadly it all went wrong the next day.
Breakfast “service” was terrible. We waited an hour to be brought our food. When we asked why it had been delayed as literally everyone else had been served a very surely woman brought our plates out - dumped them on the table & muttered enjoy!
I fed this back at reception & got an “oh sorry about that”.
The worst is yet to come. The next day whilst I was checking my bank account I noticed an additional charge of nearly £500!
I tried to call the hotel multiple times & the phone was never answered.
I emailed to complain to be given a frankly ridiculous excuse that the charge was for a “no-show” that had originally been booked to my room. Rubbish!
I did not authorise my card for extras so how did they even charge it?
After a promising start this was all such a let down. I would not stay in this hotel again.
