We stayed in a suite which overlooked the water and it was incredible. Beautiful spot, couldn't beat the view. Gym was brilliant, really high quality for a hotel gym, lots of equipment so a proper workout could be done. The spa is also brilliant, clean and well managed with free towels and robes if required. Staff were lovely, building itself was beautiful, food at The Cultra Inn was lovely too.
The only BIG let-down is the breakfast. I would firstly assume if spending £470 per night, breakfast would be included. Regardless, for a 5 star hotel I was expecting something with a bit of a WOW factor. Lots of options, maybe an additional set menu offering. Unfortunately the breakfast on show is pretty much identical to what you'd find in a Premier Inn. A very basic hot section and then some fruit and cereal. 2 types of pretty sad cheese and 2 types of cold meats. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, good quality food and more than enough to fill you for the day, but for a 5 star hotel that likes to see itself as being 'premium', the breakfast is a big let down.
All in all really great stay though, and the spa is the winner here.
