Clean room, could do with better lighting over a mirror, for women applying make-up. Bathroom lighting no better either.
Breakfast was a shambles. There was a barrier stopping you entering the food part, so we all waited patiently. About 10 mins later a member of staff came and moved it for us to go in. Firsty as you walked in, there was no cutlery or plates. But then spotted the plates the other end, so everybody walked down to get them and then started queuing for the hot food. But this was all empty except for scrambled eggs and beans, no bacon, no sausages. A member of staff came out and started shouting saying people were queuing the wrong way. When people started complaining the foods that were empty, she was then shouting if everyone can just come back in a bit, they will bring more out. But surely the person that opened the barrier, should have checked first how much food, cutlery and plates there was before she let everyone in?
Still no cutlery. Then someone said there was some on the bar, so had to go to the bar to get the cutlery. I had a croissant, but no butter or jam, until i noticed the butter was out on the toast table and the jams were on a table in the corner. Then I went to get a cup of tea, but no milk by the drinks section, so had to go and get some from next to the cereal.
So there was alot of back and for. I think more thought needs to go into where your items are placed. I have stayed in many holiday inn express hotels, but this had to be the worst.
